COUNCIL MEETINGS

Rural Municipality of Meota #468 Council Meetings are conducted the 1st Wednesday of each month commencing at 8:30am. Notice of a Special Council Meeting (not held on a regularly scheduled date) is posted on the bulletin board in the foyer of the RM Office. Dependent upon time allowance, notice of Special Council Meetings will be published on the RM website.

MAKING A REQUEST TO APPEAR BEFORE COUNCIL

To appear before Council please contact Kirk Morrison, Administrator via email to cao@rmmeota468.ca or by calling (306) 892-2061. As part of the regular Council Agenda, an opportunity is provided for presentations and delegations to Council. Presentations shall be limited to 15 minutes in duration unless Council allows otherwise.

All presenters of delegates must submit a request in writing for a presentation or delegation appointment to the Chief Administrative Officer no less than 10 working days in advance of the Council meeting date. All groups or individuals giving presentations are required to provide written documentation to administration, which clearly outlines the nature of business for inclusion in the agenda package. Delegations request reappearance on a specific matter shall only be permitted to do so if the information to be presented is new or a significant addition to that which was previously presented.

SUBMITTING WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE TO COUNCIL

To place a written correspondence item before Council, please contact Kirk Morrison, RM Administrator via email at cao@rmmeota468.ca or by calling (306)892-2061. Please be advised that given the public nature of all Council and committee meetings, an individual writing to a Councillor or administration, could have their correspondence, including name and address, disclosed at meetings.
